I have been a customer of Adams Cyclery for well over 30 years.This of course does not count my father’s patronage of the store prior to that. Over time I have purchased 7 bicycles from Adams, with each experience being an enjoyable one. I feel there are two very important values about Adams, they both surround customer service and experience.

1) You are never in a pressure situation regarding whether you are browsing to see what is current or just trying to get ideas on what new stuff is out there.

2) Things are never left to guess work, especially with kids or new comers to the cycling. Time is taken to address the basics of bike and helmet fit, functionality of the bicycle or even the accessory.

I am basing this assessment on an experience with my two sons. We went in to purchase 2 new bike helmets. In other stores, you are often left to your own devices to figure out what is the correct size, fit and is it is it appropriate. Chuck Adams spent the time talking to the boys, finding out what they would like, what colors were available and not just telling them, but showing them so they could see the helmets. He also took the time to make sure that the helmets fit them correctly and that they were comfortable.

I have always felt that the focus of the store, whether from Mr. Adams or Chuck, was always surrounding the enjoyment of cycling.

It is a great reward to have a long standing business that has been a part of the community for as long as I can remember and actively participates not only as a proprietor, but as a member of the community.

Having Adams Cyclery in our neighborhood is a gift to any family. Three children and at least 10 bicycle purchases have established for us that you cannot beat their knowledge, concern and selection. No where else can you receive the personable attention and care that we have at Adams Cyclery - no one comes close.
