Adams Cyclery is a 3rd generation
bicycle store, owned by Chuck & Denise Adams. The original
store in Richmond Hills, Queens ran by Chucks grandfather James.
Chucks dad “Chick’ moved the business to East Northport
in 1949.
In 1976 Chick retired and Chuck took over Adams Cyclery. Chuck &
Denise along with manager Darren Muccio have been running the shop
ever since...
Darren Muccio our store manager and
top mechanic has been with Adams Cyclery over 20 years. Darren
has gained quite a reputation in the industry. Riders from the recreational
to the competitive will rely on his expertise when they need their
bikes serviced.
In April of 1998 we had a mural painted on
the side of our building by a famous local artist 82 year old Hans
Gabali. Over the years many local residents have commented
on how nice it is to see the mural as they drive down Larkfield Road.

Mission
Our goal at Adams Cyclery is to provide our
valued customers with the best bicycles and service available.
In our store, our mission is to serve you with friendly, expert
& efficient assistance.
Philosophy
At Adams Cyclery, we believe that a quality
selection of bicycles, parts, and accessories, coupled with expert
service, advice, and repairs on all types of bikes and a complete
satisfaction guarantee on everything we sell is the key to a good
customer experience.
Ethics
We provide safety programs to school-age children, including local
scouts and other groups. We demonstrate to the children the proper
fit of a helmet and the rules of the road. We also impress upon
them that safety always comes first, which means always wearing
a helmet. New York State law requires all children to 14 years old
to wear a helmet. We also take the time to explain the basic care
and maintenance of bicycles.
Adams Cyclery is a frequent donor to various local
charitable organizations, and supplies numerous organizations with
bicycles and gift certificates to help with fundraising events,
such as raffles. We care about our community, and make an effort
to give back to it whenever we can.
